libefreet-dev software package provides Development files for libefreet and libefreet-mime, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libefreet-dev
libefreet-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libefreet-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libefreet-dev *
You will get with libefreet-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
